Angela Carver is the new Youth Development Leader. She officially took over in January and is excited to build on the program lead by Ann Claycomb the last five years.  Angela hopes to pull in the middle and high school students of our parish by exploring today’s music and media and connect it to what our youth face in their lives.  Through service and social activities, the growing adults of St. Thomas will hopefully grow as a group and prepare themselves for the decision of confirmation.

Currently the Youth Church will be hosting coffee hour with a pancake breakfast this Sunday, March 25.  They are raising funds to have the trees in the woods above the church felled and pruned so they can create an outdoor worship space and columbarium garden.

This is likely a multi-year project and they will begin working on the trail soon and hopefully have the funds risen this spring for the work at the top of the hill to be completed.  Other fundraisers are in the works.
