I received a message from Dorothy Brown.  She was a previous rector here at St. Thomas that has moved from Georgia to a retirement community in Oregon.  For those who keep in touch. Her new address is: 1301 Fulton St. Apt. 231, Newberg, OR  97132.

Tyler Rigby will be away on Sunday, August 13.  If anyone is available to help Bethany in the nursery on that date, please let the church office know.  You can email Linda at

The coffee hour signup is in the Parish Hall.  The sheet is located on the side of the cabinet that contains the coffee cups.  When you grab a cup for your coffee on Sunday, please think about hosting a coffee hour and sign up for a Sunday this summer!

Women in the Diocese of West Virginia are invited to attend the annual assembly of the Daughters of the King on Saturday, July 29, 10:00 – 2:00, at St. Barnabas Chapel in Bridgeport.  The Rev. Helen Van Koevering will present “Dancing Their Dreams:  God, Women and Community in Rural Mozambique” (see flyer on bulletin board in hallway.)  Although this is a Daughters of the King event, all women in the Diocese are welcome to attend and learn more about DOK.

All women in the diocese are urged to save the dates of September 8-9, 2017 for this year’s Women’s Conference.   It will be held in the Charleston area and the Rev. Helen Van Koevering will be the guest speaker.  The hotel and theme for the weekend will be confirmed soon and we will send it to you, along with a registration form, on WV Mission later this month.
